Yesterday was Remembrance Day, perhaps the ideal day to remember how people in a democracy express differences of opinion. We have the hard won right to freedom of speech so that we can use it to persuade our neighbours and elected officials, even to campaign for elected office -- not for harassing, badgering, and threatening public servants as was done to this this Parks Manager in Kimberley, BC. This trend has become all too common.
